John Osborne

John Osborne is a writer based in Norwich. His debut book Radio Head (Simon & Schuster) was published in 2009 and re-published due to critical acclaim in 2010. His second book The Newsagent’s Window (Simon & Schuster 2010) won the East Anglian Book Award and tells the story of the year John spent replying to adverts in his local newsagent’s window.

John has released two poetry collections – What If Men Burst In Wearing Balaclavas? (Nasty Little Press 2010) and The New Blur Album (Nasty Little Press 2011), and regularly performed poetry on BBC Radio 1, 3 and 6.

John Osborne is also a member of the poetry collective Aisle 16 (Time Out Critics’ Choice Of The Year Award 2005) alongside Luke Wright, Ross Sutherland, Chris Hicks, Joe Dunthorne and Tim Clare. They currently run a monthly London residency called Homework.
